Course Objectives

This course is designed for candidates required to supervise a lifting operation using a safe systems of work for lifting equipment. This course will enable candidates to understand the role and responsibility of the Crane Supervisor. On successful completion of the course the candidates will be able to review, understand and follow a safe system of work for a lifting operation including associated risk assessments.

NB It is recommended that prior to attending this course individuals should have some experience of working with lifting equipment, especially mobile cranes and be conversant with Slinger Signaller duties.
